This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, supporting multiple stakeholders, and contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven organization.</p><div><h2 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px;">The Opportunity</h2><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator provides essential administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth operation of KCDS's finance functions. Responsibilities include financial supports administration, accounts processing, client payroll administration, reporting, reconciliation activities, and maintaining accurate financial records.</p><p>This 28 hr/wk (with the possibility of 35 hours/week) position works closely with Finance, Employment Programs, HR, and Operations teams to support effective service delivery across the organization and can be either fully in office or a hybrid of remote and at least one day/week in our Castlegar office.&nbsp;</p><h2 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px;">Key Responsibilities</h2><p><br></p><h3 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px;">Client Payroll Administration</h3><ul><li>Set up and maintain client payroll records within Payworks.</li><li>Collect, review, and process payroll information.</li><li>Complete bi-weekly payroll entries and reporting.</li><li>Respond to payroll inquiries and investigate discrepancies.</li><li>Assist with year-end payroll reporting and T4A/T4E preparation.</li></ul><h3 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px;">Financial Administration</h3><ul><li>Process invoices, expense claims, and financial documentation as assigned.</li><li>Purchase and accurately track and disperse financial inventory (gas cards, etc)</li><li>Maintain accurate electronic and financial records.</li><li>Support reconciliation processes and internal audits.</li><li>Assist with preparation of reports and financial tracking tools.</li><li>Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><h3 style="font-family: &quot;Segoe UI&quot;; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Financial Supports Administration</h3><ul><li>Process client financial support reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Verify supporting documentation and ensure compliance with program and funder requirements.</li><li>Track reimbursement status and follow up on outstanding claims.</li><li>Maintain financial support databases and reporting tools.</li><li>Complete data entry, billing, and reporting requirements related to client financial supports.</li></ul><h3 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); Trained to perform the full scope of Employment Resource Advisor and Employment Counsellor duties, the Employment Advisor will work in both the WorkBC Resource Room, providing job search support and advice, and one-on-one with clients.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing complex barriers to employment, the Employment Advisor delivers client-centred, culturally appropriate, and inclusive services. This role combines front-line support, employment workshops, and labour market information with individualized assessment, employment planning, progress monitoring, and case documentation and management. The Employment Advisor collaborates with team members, employers, and community partners to ensure seamless, highquality service delivery of the WorkBC program.&nbsp; We use a wide range of practical and supportive tools provided by the WorkBC program, plus our own KCDS expertise.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Providing a true gold standard of client service is our highest priority;
